With a more diverse country and workforce today, education officials in West Virginia believe foreign language studies are an integral part of education that should begin in a child’s early years. Many studies have demonstrated that children who begin learning foreign language at an earlier age are able to grasp the language and pronunciation in ways that first-time adult learners would not.
