Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

Ms. Sellers coordinated with AFNORTH and the 16th Annual Toys for Kids Foundation Christmas Ball to put together a wonderful community based project for the children at the Renascence School. The theme this year was, “I’m Dreaming of a Red, White & Blue Christmas.” The school was provided a tree for the students to decorate and the kids made many different types of ornaments in class. The children made traditional Chinese, Spanish and American ornaments. The students began working on decorations last week, and they made airplanes in red, white and blue and red hearts. Thank you to the parents who came it to help with this activity! The Christmas ball took place on December 15th and the Renascence School International Christmas tree stood proud! Mrs. Sellers collected the Christmas ornaments and the students were able to take them home to share with their families.
