Outside the Box – Juliann Talkington

In September, the Enrichment program students spent several weeks creating an entry for the The Grand Theater 16 Legend of the Guardians: the Owls of Ga’Hool art contest. The multi-colored paper-mache, tape, paint, and marker entry featured owls on a limb. It was the first time many of the students had worked with paper-mache, so it was a great learning experience. In addition, it was a wonderful way for the kids to work on a creative project as a team. Thank you Ms. Coburn and Ms. Spradley for leading this project.
