Kids have fun “acting out”

Outside the Box – Deborah Durbin On January 20, the Panama City Renaissance School Enrichment Program students “Acted Out.” The students played a game of Charades, where each child selected a card and acted out the animal or person listed on the card. The other players were then challenged to guess the name of the animal or person being portrayed, including a soccer player, roaring lion, slithering snake, and prancing princess. What’s happening in the Enrichment and Academic Support Program in February?

Outside the Box – Juliann Talkington and Michelle Spradley There are many fun, educational programs scheduled for the Enrichment program this month. For physical education, the kids will participate in a variety of activities including an obstacle course, soccer, yoga and tag.  The students will also have the opportunity to attend the quilt show, create President pop art, learn how to be a conductor, make dog toys for the Humane Society and sing and dance for Chinese New Year.
