Open House and Curriculum Forum! Your child’s education is too important! Don’t miss it!

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson The Renascence School International (RSI) would like to give families a chance to come to the school, tour the campus, ask questions and visit with parents, teachers and administrative staff during their open house on Thursday, January 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. RSI would like you to learn more about the curriculum and nationally recognized program that they offer. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn how your child could benefit from a world class curriculum and learn how to speak proficiently in three languages.  Come early to the open house and curriculum forum and take part in the program, which will start at 5:30 PM. The school administrator Laura Stahl and the school founder Juliann Talkington will  be discussing school selection criteria, school performance correlation, RSI curriculum details and future efforts. Dear Mr. President… letters from the Renascence School International children

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson The Presidential Inauguration will be held in Washington DC on Monday, January 21, 2013. A week of festivities will include the Presidential Swearing-in Ceremony, as our country will watch as President Obama takes the oath of office and gives the inaugural address. During this week we will also be celebrating National Handwriting Day on January 23, 2013. Children were invited to write letters of advice to their new president. Students were encouraged to give advice and express their hopes and dreams. The only requirement was that the letters be handwritten. The “Letters of Advice from America’s Children” were sent to the White House through Handwriting Without Tears. Mrs. Sellers asked her students to participate in this effort. Scholarship available for private school in Panama City – preschool, elementary and middle school

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson Did you know that the Renascence School International Panama City campus offers needs-based scholarships for preschool, elementary and middle school students? A well-known school services organization, FACTS, offers reasonably-priced scholarship paperwork processing and analysis services to families at schools like ours. We are very excited to be able to open the doors to more children in the Panama City community. The deadline for the early scholarship approval process in January 25, 2013. There will be another scholarship review in May (applications due April 30, 2013).
