Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The families of the Renascence School International came together on Tuesday, November 20th for a multicultural celebration. Parent volunteers planned and organized the event which included a visit from the Zoomobile from Zoo World! This was a big hit with the students as they got up close and personal with a big lizard, a frog, a hedgehog, a dog and a parrot!  For the dinner, each family brought a dish that represented their cultural heritage or traditions. This resulted in a tasty, diverse array of food from around the globe.  What a wonderful way to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday among friends with an international flare!
