Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

There are many Latin festivals celebrated during the spring months. Spanish festivals are filled with music, dancing, food and Spanish culture. The students at the Renascence School International were celebrating in their own way with classmates and their Spanish teacher on Friday, March 23rd. This gives them the opportunity to learn more about the Spanish culture as well as having  some good, old fashioned fun.

Mrs. Perkins had games planned and students enjoyed playing outside in the sun. The games included relay races that included some funny dressing up. Only a few of the kids were brave enough to be the one in the costume! Afterwards the children enjoyed a special snack and learned some more about the Spanish culture and spring festival traditions.
