Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

Some of the students from the Renascence School International participated in an event that the St. Andrew Episcopal Church held on Wednesday, May 9. The WOW event provides fellowship between parishioners and the church staff. The church is very proud of having the school on their grounds and asked  for a few of our students to come and perform at this event. The students sang a song in Chinese called “Plant the Sun”. This song is about a kid who has a beautiful wish to plant the sun and they will grow. The boy wishes to grow lots of suns and send them to the North and South Poles and hang the sun in the winter and at night. This song displays the idea that kids want every corner of the world to be bright and warm.  Thank you to those students who sang!  They did a beautiful job!
