Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The Renascence School International Panama City campus hosts the first ever Science Fair that was presented in both the English and Mandarin Chinese languages in the state of Florida! The students had the opportunity to create a display in both English and Chinese and were judged separately for their projects by both English and Chinese judges. The science projects ranged from research projects on genetically modified corn to ball weight and air resistance. There was a project about the effects of chocolate and one studying plant growth under varying colors of light. One of the students studying the effect of pneumonics on memory while another how different beverages affect plant growth.  The students were nervous and excited to explain their experiments to the judges and answer their questions. Job well done!
