Outside the Box – Biqing Sheng

On Tuesday, the second, fourth, fifth, and sixth graders from the Panama City Renaissance School visited the Bay County Utilities Services Water Treatment Plant. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to reinforce what they learned about water and how it is transported from the reservoir to the treatment plant to the home water faucet. The students learned how surface water is cleaned to make the water safe for people to drink. They also learned the story of drinking water and what people can do to save water.
