Outside the Box – Juliann Talkington

As part of the Enrichment Program, Panama City Renaissance School students made scarecrows from recycled materials. It was fun to see the kids use plastic bottles, paper, grocery bags, metal bottle caps, soda cans, etc. to create art. The scarecrows will be part of the Second Annual Scarecrow Festival in St. Andrews. As part of the activity, the students broke into groups. Each group created a scarecrow. The scarecrows were then combined to create the festival entry. Make sure to mark your calendar for October 30, so you can see the kids’ recycled art!
