Outside the Box – Deborah Durbin

On January 13, Panama City Renaissance School students learned about Impressionism, the 19th century art movement. The students viewed several paintings of Impressionist artists, including Claude Monet’s work, and discussed how these artists used paint to show light and movement. The students then painted self-portraits using pointillism, a technique developed during the Impressionist movement and popularized by artists such as George Suerat. Thanks for another great program, Ms. Spradley.
