Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The Renascence School International Panama City campus held their 2nd Annual Science Fair on Thursday. The middle school students had projects ranging from “Calorie Labeling Effects on the Consumption of Calories” to exploring the question, “Do Biochemically Modified Soybeans Impact Bacteria Growth in Yogurt Cultures?”  One student did their research on “The Flight of Arrows”, studying the difference in speed of long and short arrows. Thank you to the three judges who came from the Navy Base, Air Force Base and the local Community. They not only judged the research and work, but also helped the students better prepare for the next step which is the Three Rivers Regional Science and Engineering Fair on February 2nd.  Congratulations on a job well done!
